The bar keeps rising.
That is good for us.
Investors today arrive better informed, ask sharper questions and compare more openly than ever before. Meeting that takes more than product knowledge — it takes the ability to explain, to show the working, and to be understood. This is a small attempt to help with that part.
Built by one of us, for the rest of us.
The profession is changing faster than it has in decades. Distributors who once competed on access now compete on clarity — on how well a client understands what they own and why they own it. That is a higher standard than the one many of us started with, and it deserves to be met properly.
MFD Central does not try to advise your clients or come between you and them. It does one narrow thing: it helps you put good numbers, clearly presented, on paper with your name at the top. What you do with that in the room is your craft, not ours.
What you can use
Free, and it stays free. The account exists so your branding can follow you across every tool.
Reports that carry your identity
Set your logo, ARN, EUIN, contact details and disclaimer once. Every PDF you generate afterwards carries them — ours disappears entirely.
Calculators for the whole conversation
SIP and goal planning, retirement projections, insurance need analysis, loan comparisons, tax harvesting, risk profiling and asset allocation.
Brokerage analyser
Read your WBR77 and WBR39 statements properly — weighted average rates, rate spreads, and comparison across periods.
Research terminal
Trailing and rolling returns, risk measures and a category screener, for when a client asks how a scheme has actually behaved.
Campaign material
Images and templates you can use with clients and prospects, without starting from a blank page each time.
Onboarding checklist
PAN, KYC across the KRAs, name matching and nominee details — with the official links, so a new client's paperwork goes right the first time.
Check it before it leaves your hands.
These reports go out under your logo and your ARN. To the client, they are your work — because they are. So please read the output before you present it: the assumptions used, the numbers produced, and whether the conclusion actually fits the person sitting across from you.
A calculator does arithmetic. It does not know your client's job security, their parents' health, or the property they have not mentioned. That judgement is yours, and no tool should be allowed to stand in for it.
If a number ever looks wrong to you, it may well be. Tell us — a calculation error found by one distributor is fixed for every distributor.
The part that never changes
Tools change, regulations change, platforms change. These do not — and they remain the only real advantages any of us has over the long run.
Honesty
Including when it costs something. The client who is told plainly that a product is not right for them remembers it for twenty years.
Transparency
About what we earn, how we earn it, and what we do not know. Nobody has ever lost a client by being too clear about their commission.
Client interest first
Every single time, not most of the time. It is the whole basis on which someone hands us their savings and their sleep.
Staying through the bad years
Anyone can be present in a bull market. What a client is really buying is someone who picks up the phone when the portfolio is down 30%.
Tell us what is missing.
Almost everything here exists because a distributor asked for it. If a calculation is wrong, a report is awkward to present, or a tool you need does not exist — say so. That feedback is the only reason any of this gets better.
Put your name on the work.
Free account. Add your logo and ARN once, and every report you generate carries them.
MFD Central provides calculation and presentation tools for mutual fund distributors. It does not provide investment advice, does not recommend any scheme, and does not create any relationship with your clients. Outputs are illustrations based on the assumptions entered and should be reviewed by the distributor before being shared. Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks; please read all scheme-related documents carefully before investing.
